What a long time since my last post. I have a few things I want to write about but just haven't had the time because of the school holidays so they will have to come later. Business and family are just getting in the way but only in a good way. First I want to share some photos of our holiday in Italy. We travelled around from Milan to Florence and Rome and then ended up at the lakes - such a fantastic holiday. We stayed at Lake Lugano on the Swiss border in this gorgeous hotel (if you want a romantic weekend away then I can't recommend this place enough). As you can see it is right on the lake, it was very peaceful (away from the tourists on Como), you could swim from the pontoon, and to top it all, they served the most beautiful food.
I hope I can go back one day.

Thank you for your lovely words - so nice to hear from you! I have so neglected my favourite blogs - please forgive me. I hope you've had the chance to enjoy the school holidays. It's so difficult to juggle everything though isn't it? I wish I could spend the whole six weeks on holiday!
