Since getting Eric - our mini schnauzer - I've really enjoyed leaving my desk, the emails, the phone calls and striding out into the beautiful Sussex countryside. I know it's not rocket science but it's amazing what a small walk can do to clear the mind. We are lucky enough to have all of this on our doorstep. I took these pictures yesterday and it was beautifully frosty. The pond was frozen and there wasn't a soul about - just me, Eric and the sheep.

Sounds wonderful. I love to have a dog to go walking in the bush with. Eric looks absolutely adorable.
Sometimes he's adorable but at other times he's a scamp!
